Sue and Ross commenced their caching career in 2009. Having reached their 6,000th find in November 2014, (now 16,000 1.6.18) it is appropriate that these Wandering Heroes be acknowledged and included in this series.
Both members of the team have extensive experience in the education of young Australians in and around Geelong. The transition to part-time employment has enabled them to devote more energy to geocaching.
Their passion for teaching has not diminished - now they love to set homework tasks for cachers, challenging them with series such as "You Are Never Too Old To Learn" lesson numbers 1- 9 "Postman's Revenge" lesson numbers 1 - 4, Awesome Books 4 Children and Cautionary Tales for Children.
In each lesson, cachers must undertake some serious research or engage in solving devious puzzles, and of course the recall of skills or facts which were left in a school bag many years back. Once the homework is complete seekers know they will be headed to a very interesting and often fiendish hide. Suscoe also played a major role in establishing the G2Q Rail Trail series.
