Geocache Description:

Secret Spots of monkeydogfish and chloboo. This is a wet and wild spot.

monkeydogfish:

This is one of the secret spots we discovered while exploring our new neighborhood. It is a letterbox hybrid cache, so the container is not at the listed coordinates. The posted coordinates are for parking and starting the hunt. Follow the directions from chloboo to get to the cache. (the "CHLOBOO IS AWESOME!!!!!" step she lists is optional. )

Recommended equipment would include flashlights and waterproof shoes (or a willingness to just get wet ). Not recommended at night or after big rains.

As a letterbox hybrid cache, there is a stamp in the container. This is for stamping your own book or paper; you can stamp the cache logbook with your own stamp if you have one. If you don't have a stamp, maybe leave a little sketch or doodle? Please do not remove the stamp or ink pad from the cache.

This is our first cache hidden in Canada!

Trackable FTF coin for the first to find.

Happy hunting!

chloboo:

  • Start out at the posted coordinates and walk east.
  • You will go downhill; once you reach the bottom and the road starts to go uphill, look to your left.
  • There is a trail next to a pole. Venture down the trail (watch out for pokey blackberry bushes) until you can see the waterfall.
  • As soon as you can see the water, STOP! Turn back to face the way you just came, and in your LOUDEST voice, shout, "CHLOBOO IS AWESOME!!!!!"
  • Alright, now the most important task is now. Turn back around and climb down the rocks to the main part of the stream.
  • Follow the stream down, until you can see an eight-sided figure.
  • Climb through this strange hole and continue walking until the eight sides turn into four.
  • Look for some foliage, the cache is hidden in greenery.

Good luck!

Congratulations to Roman! for being FTF - found it even while skipping the "CHLOBOO IS AWESOME!!!!!" step!
