A small cache off of the side of the road south of the Van Buren County Memorial Medical Center (operated by Ozark Health, Inc. since about 2002). It was formed in 1950 by the local citizenry who held all sorts of fund raisers to purchase the furnishing, equipment, and supplies to get the hospital open and operational. It was run by a local board until the 1990's when it was operated for a while by the Baptist Medical System, all the while being located about a mile north of its current location. The curren hospital ficility was built in the early 2000's at about the time Ozark Health, Inc. was given a 50 year contract to operate the facility. The former location is now used as the county office complex.
