Geocache Description:

No 13 in a series of caches. Some will be at sporting venues others may not.

The Brownlw Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian Football League

during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945 due to World War 2.

Players are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1941 Brownlow Medal was won by Norman Ware from the Footscray [bulldogs] Football Team.

He had 23 votes.

The cache is a M&M container painted brown with log-book and pencil.

The cache may be hard to do when any sporting events are being held.

Please keep an eye out for muggles.

Please watch out for snakes during the warmer weather.

Enjoy the cache.
