...gonna crawl inside and die. We've all heard that 1973 classic by the Marshall Tucker Band called "Can't you see?". Well, if you can find this cache and look SE, you'll see that very Hole In The Wall.
Though previous versions have existed, the current version of South Amboy's famous "speed bump" was built in 1923 to safely and efficiently allow vehicular traffic to cross from the "Mechanicsville side" of town to the rest of the city. Words like "tunnel" and "underpass" could have sufficed, but this structure is known more colorfully by the locals as "The Hole in The Wall".
At one time, the two lane tunnel passed under many sets of railroad tracks that the Pennsylvania Railroad would use to transport coal & other products to the city waterfront for shipping via barge to New York City and beyond. Today only one set of tracks remain that are maintained by Conrail Shared Assets for use by CSX and Norfolk Southern.
The cache is a relatively easy PnG in a magnetic key holder about 2 blocks away from The Hole in the Wall. BYOP, and keep in mind that this is a busy intersection so there will be vehicular traffic and many muggles. Stealth required! Please be sure cache is put back together properly and is SECURELY placed back where found.
Congrats to Blitznmore on the FTF!
