Geocache Description:

Following the success of our previous CITO at Norley Village playground we have been asked by the playground committee and the village hall committee if we could come back and do more work. The village hall committee kindly waive their charges for geocaching events making this an excellent venue, it is only fitting therefore that we continue to help them with maintenance. Saturday 11th April 10am to 5pm

Norley playground and village hall are community based projects funded through voluntary contributions and community fundraising.

The playground committee have asked if we could come and do the spring maintenance for them. This involves clearing the moss from under the fences, clearing up the leaves, litter picking and limited weeding and hedge cutting.

The village hall committee have asked if we could come and do some internal work for them. The small room in the hall is in desperate need of a coat of paint. They have also asked if we could continue the job of wire brushing the external railings that we did some of at the last CITO.

Therefore there will be indoor and outdoor tasks to be done. Please bring gloves, litter pickers if you own them, tools for weeding, wire brushes, overalls, paint brushes, trays and rollers etc.

We will provide some indoor activities to keep the kids occupied whilst the adults work.

Members of the playground and village hall committees will be present on the day to help and instruct us as to what needs doing.
