Geocache Description:

Hello Fellow Cachers!

As I turn 1,000, I thought it was finally time I gave back to the Geocaching community that has been so good to me.

Ahh, Forte Park.  I have played recreational softball now for many years, and this is probably the #1 field I have played on in terms of frequency and condition.  The field is always in great shape (except for the occasional puddle and the large depression in the right-handed batters box), and the lights are bright at night.  I tend to play the outfield.  I always hear the sound of barking dogs at the doggy daycare center next door, and occasionally get a whiff of the fast food joint just beyond it.

Forte Park is lively on nice days, with soccer players, softball players, and dogs running around.  I frequently take my hound for walks along the Charles using this as my entry point.  I love this stretch of the Charles: quiet and scenic, with paths on both sides.

The cache is close to Forte Park (I would have placed it closer, but I had to exceed the minimum distance from other caches), and the closest public access point is from there.  This cache can easily be tandemmed with findit's "Just Ducky" series.  The cache should be well above the flood line.

Cache is not quite a micro, and not quite small. Only big enough to hold tiny trinkets. Shouldn't have to BYOP, but it couldn't hurt.
