In June 2014, some young kids (Kai, Eli, Lachy and Finn) and their dads hid a cache (Smurfs hideout) here in the bush, but unfortunately, they got the coordinates very very wrong and it wasn't long before the cache ended up being archived. The cache itself, however, remained in place.
Being an Opa (grandfather) of similar aged kids, I had gotten a bit of a kick out of reading what the kids had written on the cache when they hid it, so I thought it would be nice to refresh and relist the cache for others to enjoy. Such sentiment aside, the walk to the cache is actually quite a pleasant little one, along a formed trail. GZ is just off the trail, but doesn't really require any bush bashing!
As this is a new cache, finders of the original Smurf's Hideout can get a bonus smiley here ... it's more or less in the same location as before, if you can remember where. The coordinates for this one are pretty much what finders used last time, and were averaged over 100 readings in overcast conditions to +/-3m
