Today, I am free. Free from blame and mental abuse from a spouse whom I spent nearly 20 years with before I met someone two years ago who inspired me to break free. On November 30, 2012 the unlikliest of all songs "Black Betty" set me on the path to freedom. I find it fitting that my divorce is final today, two years later.
