Geocache Description:

It should be obvious, but the big "question mark" that you see on the geocaching.com web map identifies ten caches that not only are puzzles but also five star. These have been placed with the permission of Broward County Parks and Recreation.

Some of these caches, as well as waypoints, are located in Boaters Park, a 6.5-acre site that is accessible only by private boat. There is dockage for 35-40 boats. Within the park you will find picnic shelters, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms. Thus if you are so inclined, you can stay for several hours, enjoying the park and working on finding some/all of the caches.

The park does have limited hours that are as follows:

November 2, 2014 through March 7, 2015 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

March 8, 2015 through October 31, 2015 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The park’s rules and regulations can be reviewed here.

So, here we go. The coordinates for Stage 1 are the following:

N26-04.097

W080-10.533

When you arrive in Boaters Park you can commence your search for a container with the location of the Final cache and log. As noted in the attributes, you will need your UV flashlight to read the coordinates in Boaters Park.

In the Winter of 1804- 1805 the Lewis and Clark expedition arrived in NW North Dakota and over-wintered with the Mandan tribe. It was during this time thaat a young, female, Shoshone Indian named Sacajawea joined the expedition. She served as translator, peacemaker, caretaker and guide, thus making possible the historic journey of Lewis and Clark. So, use the skills of Sagacawea in your search for the cache.

As a FTF award, the cache contains a gold coin commemorating Sacajawea. FTF can take it or leave it for STF or others.

FTF goes to Team Riddm - radioman84, ikolor, Davidlee G, Dockdog and Mosquimoyo!!
