The 1st DARTs went from the Northside (Howth) to (Southside) Bray, running right across the heart of Dublin (and back again, of course). They traversed through the city centre stopping at the main stations of Connolly (Amien’s St), Tara Street, and Westland Row (Pearse Station). The finishing point of Bray is actually in County Wicklow. This was the stable route for the first 15 years but it was then extended to Greystones in the South and to Portmarnock and Malahide in the North. Further extensions are ongoing today.

Travelling by DART is a popular tourist attraction and a vibrant way of seeing and getting around Dublin. The DART follows a line curving across Dublin Bay which makes for spectacular photographs. Photos from, on, or of the DART would be welcome additions to this page.
Please note that the estimated walking time to this cache from the nearest DART station is 15 minutes. Several buses also run along this route. You can also drive to the location if you prefer. Parking is available for long enough to grab the cache but watch out in both directions for muggles.
*********************************
To solve the puzzle and find the coordinates for the cache you must first write out the full DART acronym (22 letters long). Next, remove all the letters that appear more than once. The remaining (unique) letters are to be given numerical values starting with 1, 2, 3 and so forth.
The date (YEAR) that the DART first operated will be represented by (WXYZ)
*********************************
The formula is as follows and the final coordinates are:-
N53°BU.EWY W006°UZ.(X-P)(S-P)L
NOTE: A torch will help a lot
- Feel free to post photos from your Dart journey but PLEASE don't post photos of the cache location to your log
*Congratulations to Bohstom & Bohsdee for being the FTF*
