Indiana Dunes State Park offers many amenities for all to enjoy. Prepare for anything weather wise! While the event is free, standard gate fees are $5 in-state, $10 out of state visitors. Winter visitors can enjoy cross-country skiing, camping, hiking, snowshoeing, birding, a full service Nature Center, and of course geocaching! Annual Entrance passes are available as well. These get you into every Indiana State Park and Reservoir until Dec 31, 2015. Prices are $40 Indiana residents and $60 out of state residents. Golden Hoosier Entrance Permits are also available for $20.
Arrival time starts at 11am with registration and social time at the Nature Center (posted coordinates). The event's namesake takes place at 11:30am and is followed by a chili dump dinner at 4:30pm. Cachers are invited to donate prizes anytime, should they wish to contribute.

8th Annual Chili Dump!
Bring your favorite chili dish to dump into the kettle. We'll slow heat it all day over an open fire for dinner later. The last seven year's chili has been delicious after a cold day in the field! Coffee and hot chocolate will be available in the Nature Center all day to warm you up. Bring any other drinks you may want. Bowls and spoons provided.
A Crumbly Cookie Tour!
Just as the dunes crumble with wind and water, so do our amazing cookies. Tour the area's top cookie makers and test your sweet tooth as you make your way from cookie palace to cookie palace! Don't forget to answer the cookie questions along the way for your points! Bring a camera to capture your fun!
