Hezekiah (aka Alan Shiel) was responsible for many of our earliest geocaching adventures as we sought to complete his alphabet series of geocaches. It was a sign of the respect that he was held in that 19 different geocachers volunteered to take on the caches he had placed and managed, following his sad passing in November 2014.
He was a keen hillwalker and geocacher and we felt it appropriate that this cache be placed in his spiritual home, the Dublin/Wicklow mountains
The cache is a medium sized ammo box and we hope that his friends in the geocaching community will help keep it safe and well stocked. After all many of us relied on Hezekiah for the all important geo supplies!
Take care when entering the car park due to narrow entrance and hard boulders, and leave no valuables in your vehicle, as these car parks are sometimes targeted by thieves.
Getting accurate co-ords was difficult under tree cover so please use the hint as required!
