LETTERS FROM HOME MENOMINEE COUNTY




Menominee County is a county located in the Upper Peninsula in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the population was 24,029. The county seat is Menominee.


The county's name comes from an American Indian word meaning "wild rice eater" used to describe a tribe. The county was originally created under the name of Bleeker in 1861. When county government was organized in 1863, the name was changed to Menominee.


To find the geocache, you must follow these instructions:
1. Read though the description of Menominee County. Let A= the last number in the 2010 population. let B = the second digint in the year the county was organized. let C = the last digit in the year the county was originally created. let D = 5.
2. Travel ABCD feet at an azimuth of 13.7 degrees true.
3. Now subtract .007 from the North and add .002 to the West.
