This is the first of what I hope is a few challenges I would like to place in honor of my favorite albums. The challenge will be to find caches for each of the tracks on a given album. The rules are as followed:
- You must find a different cache for each of the tracks of the album.
- If the song title has multiple words, I will take any words in the title except conjunctions (and, or, but, nor, yet, so, for), articles (a, an, the), and short prepositions (in, to, of, at, by, up, for, off, on). I will make the words I will accept in BOLD.
- The words must appear in the cache title and can't be part of another word. (ie: dishrag is not allowed for rag.)
- You can have found the caches at anytime.
This time I have chosen the band that has had the most influence on my life, Phish. My expereinces and memories of traveling the country to see Phish is some of my most cherished. I have met many of my closest friedns at Phish shows including my wife. I recently celebrated seeing my 400th Phish show! While Phish is a known much more for their live performances than thier studio albums, they do have a couple pretty good studio LP's. Rift released in 1993 and is considered by most Phish fans to be their best studio release.
- "Rift"
- "Fast Enough for You"
- "Lengthwise" (I will allow for either Length or Wise even though the title is one word.)
- "Maze"
- "Sparkle"
- "Horn"
- "The Wedge"
- "My Friend, My Friend"
- "Weigh"
- "All Things Reconsidered"
- "Mound"
- "It's Ice"
- "Lengthwise" - This is repeaded so no need to find a second cache.
- "The Horse"
- "Silent in the Morning"
This might take a little travel. All the caches do exist in CA at the time of publising. You are required to list the 14 caches that qualifiy in your log. The D rating is basd on both the challenge and the slightly tricky hide.
I like challanges and I love music and this seems like a fun way to mix the two. Feel free to place your own cache in the series if you like the idea. (Feel free to use the banner as well.) I would love to see others favorite albums and would like the challenge of completeing them.
