Geocache Description:

The Cache is located at the Original Entrance to Rishworth Railway Station which was off Oldham Road. Since the closure in 1929, the entrance is no longer, however a seat and flower bed mark the spot.


Rishworth railway station was a railway station on the Rishworth Branch, built by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, to serve the village of Rishworth in CalderdaleWest YorkshireEngland. It opened in 1881 and closed to passenger services in 1929; goods traffic ceased in 1953
