Geocache Description:

A series of geocaches accessed from Old Burnt Store Road in the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park. There are 9 gates in this section of the Preserve that allow access to approximately 1,000 acres and 12 miles of park roads.

OBSS VII is accessed through a gate just east of the cache on Old Burnt Store Road. The trail leading to the cache is through a mix of Pine flatwoods and Scrubby flatwoods. Durden Creek parallels the trail to the north for its entire legnth. The cache is on the banks of the Creek. Great secret fishing spot too. This cache was placed by the staff of the Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park.
