Dark Nightz #1. The Zed Box. This is my first attempt at placing a Night Cache so any Constructive criticism is welcome. The walk is aimed at Newbies and Novices to "Have a Go" at Night Caching but I recommend that they are accompanied by an experienced cacher. You will also to be able to collect several Traditional Smilie caches on route. The Circular walk should take approx. 75 mins and can be very muddy in some places so Wellingtons are recommended! The entire route is along Public Footpaths and the Day-glow markers should be easily picked up with a good torch. Please be aware that you may encounter some livestock en route so it would be advisable to keep Geodogs on a lead. An OS map of the area is also recommended. In the unlikely event you are unable to spot any markers then keep walking in the same direction along the Footpath until you see one. NB!! Please Note!! After appox 25 minutes into the walk you might see 7 bright markers in a line to you left (East). Ignore them and keep walking in a Southerly direction as they are nothing to do with the walk. When you see two white arrows V V you have reached GZ and a Simple Puzzle is needed to sign the logbook. Follow the markers to the lane and this will lead you to the bye pass then a 5 minute walk back to the Parking area.
