Geocache Description:

Small cache placed in the Drumburgh Marsh.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, leave the marble in the bottom of the cache container, the weight of the marble will push the log from the container.

This cache is located with the kind permission of the "Cumbria Wildlife Trust".

The parking area will bring you to a ten minute walk to the cache location.

The walk to the cache is firm underfoot, but walking boots/wellies would be advisable.  The path is close to deep pools of water so please supervise children.  There is a myriad of wildlife here from deer, birds, newts, lizards and also snakes (adders are often seen), so please take care with any inqusitive four legged GeoHounds.

Lots of information markers on the way to ground zero and please stick to the paths.

Finally, look for the "Meadow pipit" and the "Kestrel" and you wont be able to stand any closer to the cache....

The container is a little larger than a film canister, there is no space for any swaps, and please bring your own pen

This is about a 15 minute walk for anyone wanting a quick deviation from the Hadrian's Wall walk
