It has been placed in memory of Nicola Valley Explorer Rick Isbister who loved going on hikes around the valley. I met Rick for the first time many years ago when he headed a group of hikers up and down these trails. Rick had wanted to place some caches around for walkers and hikers to find and thus to discover the many wonderful aspects of his hometown but he never got to do it. So this is a cache put in place for him. Hope you like the spot, Rick!
You can get to the Tom Lacey Legacy Trailhead just behind the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology. The cache series TLLT #1 - #9 by jaccar2 follows the trail upwards. It is longer but gentler. The shortest route up is not the easiest.
