Geocache Description:

For the past few years, this location has been the home of migrating vultures in the fall and winter season.  We call them buzzards here in Bastrop.  We are not sure why they chose this exact location, but each evening shortly before dusk, flocks of them come over to roost within the tall pines above this cache in a unique nature event.  Look around and see their habitat and lost feathers, but beware, don't come too late or you may get pooped on.

The hike is not far from the cross roads in this wooded area, but beware of poison ivy and other forest creatures as there is a deep dry creek right below the hillside.
