Square Lake Park is designated as a Regional "Special Recreation Feature" by the Metropolitan Council, because of Square Lake's outstanding water quality. The lake has some of the clearest waters in Minnesota, and draws scuba divers and swimmers from throughout the Metropolitan Region.
Square Lake facilities include a swimming beach, scuba diving, picnicking and a fishing pier.

This cache is a solve on site at Stage 1 and an easy find at Stage 2. Beware of a "snake" at Stage 1 that will test your puzzling skills and the snake at Stage 2 standing guard over the cache.
There is an alternate solution at Stage 1 that gives the wrong answer. You will know, if it starts stressing out the snake. Please be kind to the snake and don't do that solution. The correct method is very easy on the snake.

Washington County vehicle permits are required for all motorized vehicles entering the park. Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
