Ryan's Birthday Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is on the road to access the Black Butte hiking trail - a great hike in summer or winter (when snow permits)! The road allows for some great views of Mt. Shasta, as well the beautiful Shasta-Trinity National Forest. 

This cache is just off of Black Butte Trail, in the National Forest. The road is dirt, and quite potholed. High clearance vehicles are recommended. We had to cross a deep puddle at the time of placement. There is no snow now (12-21-14), but snow could be an issue! There is a small pullout suitable for parking just beyond the cache. Cache container is a camoed plastic container, with a Mt. Shasta fridge magnet for FTF. This is the first cache we have hidden, so if you have any comments let me know! Happy geocaching!
