A local of the area told us of this spot, but her directions were none to clear so it took a bit to find it again.
A little Reserve, tucked between the houses, driven past many a time and never spotted the sign. (look behind the ducks) However even when you know where it is getting in isn’t that easy, my first attempts all seemed to end up in some ones back garden, front deck or just generally where I shouldn’t be.
So clear instructions as to how to proceed:
Enter the reserve by the sign.
Find your way to the left hand side of the stream, heading toward the cache and follow until:
Find the Black Plastic pipe, this will guide you to GZ.
Follow the pipe across the first stream crossing, but not the second or third, stay to the right of the stream heading towards GZ or you may have to use my bridge. (I crossed it successfully).
Please take the time to ensure the cache is closed properly and well hidden, so it at least can’t be seen from the (ahem) track.
The mozzies were hungry at GZ, don’t think they had seen fresh blood in some time, though a constant stream of geocachers may fix that.
