The Sad Remains of His Shattered Major Award Traditional Cache

     "With as much dignity as he could muster, the old man gathered up the sad remains of his shattered major award.  Later that night, alone in the backyard, he buried it next to the garage."

You are looking for a regular-sized, black and camo-taped container with a Travel Bug (see gallery) and collectible sports tradeables.

     We love the movie A Christmas Story!  It is our favorite Christmas movie, and we watch it every Christmas Eve.  Watching it this year (2014), the quote above suddenly gave me the idea for this cache.

     In this cache, you will find a Travel Bug, Old Man Parker and His Major Award, with a couple of fun goals, but what to do after he goes on his way?  Then it struck me . . . the old man loves sports!

     "The Sox traded Bullfrog, the only player they got for Shottenhoffen.  Four-eyed Shottenhoffen, a utility infielder.  Got a whole damn team of utility infielders."  Later on, the old man and the mom are talking about the upcoming Bears vs. Packers game.  Yep, the old man loved his "silly puzzles" and his Sports section!

     So what's in the cache?  Stuff the Old Man would like, primarily sports memorabilia and cards--Some may be worth a lot-I dunno, I'm just pulling from my heaps of stuff.  Lots for a FTF (and future visitors) to choose from.  I will add more later after the Travel Bug is taken (and more room is available).
