This is one of the Wayne County Trails. It is a old rail road line that went from Wallington to Sodus Point. It was a very important line that carried coal from the treasle in Sodus Point. The rails and ties have been removed several years ago and it makes a nice easy walking trail.
The cache is placed on the first part of the trail between Ridge Rd. and Furber Rd. If you hike the full length from Wallington to Sodus Point it is 3 miles.
The log is in a pill bottle which is placed inside another container. The container is home made and if I tell you what it is it would make it to easy. The area may be a little wet depending on the time of year. There may be some bush waking involved. BYOP.
