Over recent years, the city of Fort Pierce, has put a huge effort into restoring this beautiful waterfront area. Including adding lots of free parking. On most Saturdays, there is a farmer's market here. This area is also often the host for various festivals throughout the year. Just north of this location is the Fort Pierce Manatee Center. During the colder parts of winter, manatees like to visit this area. You will also find an art museum, railroad museum, as well as the famouos Sunrise Theater, all in this same area.
