The Red Trail Traditional Cache

This expands the hike through "Nantmeal Woods," adding elevation and additional trails. Please park and begin your hike at the designated Parking Spot. Trying other access points will find you uninvitied on private property. Snow lays longer in these woods than elsewhere. Wear orange during hunting season. This is NOT a park and grab cache!

1) From the "Horizontal Trail" cache in the magical musical garden, ascend on the red-blazed trail to where it joins a newer trail. The host tree is right on the edge of the trail.

2) From the "A Stump Not a Cave" cache you can by-pass the red-blazed trail. Just back track a little to a wide trail that ascends gently. Even though it swings the wrong way for a while you should see the juncture to head towards the cache.
