Where: Applebee's
When: January 14, 2015 - 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M.
What: A social meet & greet
Who: Any & all geocachers looking for an opportunity to celebrate "Hump Day", the middle of the work week.
Why: An opportunity to meet new geocachers and finally put faces to the names you see on local geocaching logs, an opportunity to visit with old friends, share some geocaching stories, and grab a bite to eat & something to drink if you so chose.
Stop in after work during the middle of your work week for some friendly conversation. Here's your chance to visit with old friends, and meet some new geocachers while grabbing a bite to eat & drink. You will have an opportunity to finally put some faces to the names you see on area geocache logs, engage in some like minded conversation, and allow someone else to do the cooking and clean-up for you after a full day of work. This event is being held at an easy to find location just off of Hwy. 16 in Onalaska, Wisconsin, and is centrally located between the cities & villages of Onalaska, La Crosse, Holmen, West Salem & Medary. This will be strictly a social event, so no new geocaches will be placed for the event, however there are several geocaches hidden in the immediate area for those looking to find some PNGs either before or after the event. Food and drink appropriate for all ages is available on site for those interested. Looking forward to seeing many of you there!
