The magnetic cache is placed near the Vice-Chancellor's Lodge (University Lodge)

The Vice-Chancellor's Lodge is the residence of the University's Vice-Chancellor. It replaces the old Principal's House which stood at a site roughly where the Shaw Buildings are today.
