This is a part of the Kuncanowet (place of the bear) Town Forest & Conservation Area. The road abutting this lot is the "old" Everett Road established in 1801. This road used to be the main road from the center of Dunbarton to the Everett Station where farmers and tradesmen in town would bring their goods to be shipped to Boston by rail.
