Gordon Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JoesBar: It's been a good run. The area is now left to grow natural, vs when I placed this here seven years ago. Which is better for Mother Nature. I hope everyone that visited liked the area.

Geocache Description:

You seek a container that measures about 6 inches, 150 mm, square and is about 2 inches, 50 mm, deep.  Please take a moment before leaving to cover the container with some of the natural material nearby.

The park entrance is on Lakeshore Blvd.

When Interstate 90 was constructed, Gordon Park was cut into two.  Originally what is now Martin Luther King Blvd. was the main entrance to this park.  It extended across where the highway runs to the area that has ball diamonds and what was once Cleveland's aquarium.  This part of the park is now operated by the Cleveland Metroparks.  If you walk past the building, north, there are trails on Dike 14.  This is a great birding area.

I have included some pictures. Check the gallery.
