I knew that it was too good to be true. i thought that I would get get a little time off from this fight. After placing the third Fairy Badge I noticed something strange off in the distance. I started to walk across the field when I thought I saw the light of a "Leader" portal opening. I leapt sideways into the bushes and crept slowly up to see what was going on. When I finaly got close enough all I saw was just some muggle standing on the dock looking out at the water. I jumped out of the bushes, brushing myself off, hoping that this muggle didn't see me creeping though the bushes like some strange lunatic. Or having to explain this "Fairy War" to some park employees or even worst...the cops.
I started to to head back to my truck when I caught something out of the corner of my eye. It was just a small detail but I could've sworn I saw a leaf fall off a branch and pass through that muggles head. I had to find out if what I saw was true but I would be taking a big risk in getting caught again if I didn't play my cards right. So I casually started to walk over there; acting as casual as I could but keeping an eye out for the first sign of trouble.
I got to within 15ft of the muggle and said "Are the fish biting?" I waited a few seconds...took a couple of steps closer and repeated myself and got nothing but a silent response. There was no way a normal muggle wouldn't have heard me so I picked up a rock and took a chance. I threw it at the muggle and I was right; it passed right through the muggle like he wasn't even there. After searching the area I found what was making the illusion of that muggle. "Those sneaky S.O.B's!!! They stole our tech!!" They copied our force field fairy habitat and made their own illusion device to hide their portals from us. I didn't give this "Leader", and the fairies, enough credit. But little did they know that I've been doing a little tinkering of my own with the boys down in tech and came up with a new "Portal Blocker".
I set the "Device" and let it go to work. In two seconds the fake muggle disappeared and their portal was closed. The day is ours as we can chalk up another victory to our side. But I need to ask you a favor. This is new untested tech and I need to ask of you to check on it for me. Everyday this fight leads me to a new place and I'm not sure when I will be back.
So go forth my Hunters and make sure their portal to our world stays closed. I wish you luck in your mission and remember I'm always with you my loyal Fairy Hunters.
