Besides the Meneely bell, there is a memorial and an old train signal. The park is also home to an antique carousel, ferris wheel, and concession stand that are open on special occasions. There is also a pavilion for picnics, and a gazebo was placed here last year. The park is probably most known for hosting the Schenevus Firemen's Carnival the third weekend in July. During the carnival, all of the buildings are open to the public and there is food, fun and fireworks (I still think the best fireworks in the area!). That being said, the third weekend in July could also be called MUGGLEFEST!
Cache was placed with permission of the Town Board. There is also a new regulation banning dogs from the park.
Happy Caching!!!
