The New Brunswick Great War Geocaching Project (NBGWGP) was commissioned by the University of New Brunswick’s Gregg Centre for the Study of War & Society. The aim of the NBGWGP is to commemorate the valiant service and sacrifice of the thousands of New Brunswick men and women who answered the call to arms for King and Country. The GeoTrail is intended to focus on the soldiers of New Brunswick and those that supported them.
The aim of this Event “Hands Across the Borders” is to officially launch this series to the MBGA. The Event will be an opportunity to learn more about the Project, map your maps, receive an “Intelligence” briefing and prepare to go to “Over the Top” and plan a summer 2015 vacation in New Brunswick!!
This is a brief outline of events:
1000 – 1030 hours – Meet the Regimental Major, mark your maps and receive a free passport (Don’t forget to sign the Log!)
1030 – 1100 hours – View the Geocoin for completing the 24 caches of the NBGWGP GeoTrail, take the NBGWGP Quiz, and meet & greet
