A series of 5 caches on Cothelstone Hill, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, looked after by the Quantock hills rangers, please respect the area, and keep dogs under close control, especially during the breeding season.
The hills are grazed by a heard of Exmoor ponies, numerous birds make the hills their home including, red starts, piedfly catchers, woodpeckers, nuthatch and tawny owls, to name but a few, don't forget the cuckoo in spring time, I saw my first cuckoo here, having heard many over the years, also in spring time there are a lot of bluebells in the woods. Caches placed with the kind permission and help of the Quantock Hills Rangers.
