キャッシュは小俣八幡宮（おまたはちまんぐう）の境内の何処かに隠されています。

小俣八幡宮は『お笑講』の発祥の地です。
『お笑講』は防府市大道小俣地区に鎌倉時代より伝承される奇祭で、
800年以上もの間受け継がれている全国的にも珍しい笑いの神事です。
毎年12月の第一日曜日に21戸の農家が当屋に集まり、榊を持った2人が大声で3度笑いあいます。
笑い声の第1声は今年の豊作を喜んで、
第2声は来年の豊作を祈って、
第3声は今年苦しかったことや悲しかったことを忘れるために笑い合います。
このとき、笑い声が小さかったり、不真面目なときは、講の長老は何度でもやり直しをさせます。
