KIWI WALK (Motueka) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Sidewaze: I finally managed to drop by when there was no-one lounging about in the vicinity. I replaced the cache nearby but forgot it should be wheel-chair accessible. I think I'll just archive this one as the only wheel-chair accessible hiding place doesn't look all that great.

Geocache Description:

The Hillary Commission, named after mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary, was created through the Recreation and Sport Act 1987 to develop and encourage sport and recreation for all New Zealanders. One of their aims was to get every New Zealander out getting at least SOME exercise each day. Councils took advantage of the funding provided to build walkways throughout the country. The "Walk  Tasman"  sign reminds us that this was one of the many "Kiwi" walks constructed by the Tasman District Council.
