Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Tucker's Bridge area of NT Arlington Court - 4th cache in the NT Hike series - after finding this cache either continue to NT Hike-5 or return to Arlington Court house.

Not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies, and it is recommended that you wear sturdy boots.

There are tearooms and toilets by the main house (when open).

This cache is near to the 'Cott Brake walk' (9 km and will take at least 4 hours to complete - see ‘Related Web Page’ to download the walk). Placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.

This cache is located close to the track - do not cross the bridge, follow the sign to 'Shirwell via Cott Wood' and find the cache - Tucker's Bridge is one of the most important wildlife areas on the estate and is a habitat for lichen, bats and butterflies.

The cache is an ammo can.

After finding the cache - if continuing to NT Hike-5 then just follow the track (yellow DCC arrow) - however - if returning to Arlington house then return to Tucker's bridge and cross the bridge and follow the sign to 'Arlington Court and Loxhore via Deerpark WD' (your next cache will then be Deerpark Wood NT Hike-12).
