Geocache Description:

尾道大橋が出来る以前。向島へ渡る手段として栄えたのが渡船です。
大林映画に度々登場する、尾道の味わいの大切なひとつです。おそらく大林監督自身もフェリーに纏わる忘れられない思い出があるのではないでしょうか。乗ったと思ったらすぐ到着してしまう短い航路なのですが、これがまた良いのです。即座に対岸の空気が味わえ情緒があります。
