The cache is located near Horsebarn Hill at UCONN. It's on a maintained trail that is used both for Natural Resource classes as well as by the general public. There are a couple more caches further on this trail system, so one can make a day of logging more! This cache is located closer to the trailhead, therefore if you're just looking for a quicker grab, then this one's for you.
Horsebarn hill is one of our most treasured areas on the UCONN campus. There are barns with animals, great hiking, awesome views from the top of the hill, and a nice quiet experience within the hustle and bustle of the college campus. 7 year old Hattie O. was excited to leave her cache on one of her favorite places in the world.
