BYOP & initials only please. (this is a hint as to size!) Congrats AC/DCfamily on FTF! Edit: 2-2017. When this cache was placed there was nothing going on around here. If you look across the street to the south at the yellow cabin you will see the site if the Gibson-Grant Cabin. In late 2015 a 10 acre plot with a rambling yellow farmhouse was sold to a developer. He was told of a supposed cabin within the walls that had been there a long time. Over the years homeowners had built on until a long yellow farmhouse was completed that had homes for 2 generations to live there at the same time. While tearing the home down the developer noticed that the logs looked really old. After checking with a Denton Historical group the cabin was dated to 1860s, almost as old as Texas! Most of the yellow farmhouse has been removed with only walls currently protecting the cabin left for now. The fireplace on the east side is the original fireplace & has been standing all that time. The area was sold/ gifted to the Flower Mound Foundation & will be restored & used as an educational site.
