Geocache Description:

*** The cache is not at the listed coordinates. ***

This Cache is dedicated to Runfrog as he originated it. Just trying to keep it going. Changed to a simple field puzzle and moved the final to a different location. Kept original container and tried to keep the same kind of hide but the tree I used fell over. Now it's a typical hide in the woods near the fallen tree.

It is located in the Middle Run Valley Park. Remember this is a dawn to dusk park so no night caching.

If you go too far down Possom Hollow road you will miss the entrance to the park and you'll end up at the Tri-State Bird Rescue. Turn around and go back to a gravel/dirt road on your right. This is the entrance to the park (see reference points). Follow this road all the way to the end to the suggested parking [P1] listed in the way points. From here you will be searching for a trail marker which is a 4" x 4" wooden post about 4' high with colored circular discs ([TM] coordinates > N 39° 42.900' W 75° 43.185', also listed below). After finding the marker use the information found on it to solve a simple field puzzle and determine the coordinates for the final. A check sum is added to verify your results. Note: Follow the right trails from the marker to get within 175 feet of Final GZ. Like the name says, it IS the World's Largest Bison Tube (in 2006), or maybe Delaware's (in 2006).

Alternate parking is at the Pike Creek Bible Church/Christian School. The entrance is off Poly Drummond Hill road. Follow the long driveway down the hill to the parking lot. There is a trail access point nearby and is located in front and to the left of the church.

Solve the simple field puzzle below to determine the final coordinates

Using the circles solve the following equations to determine the numbers for the final coordinates:

A = on one side of post with the most circles, of those circles, the ones containing the word "TRAIL"

B = A * number of sides of the post with circles

C = the most # of circles on one side MINUS the least # of circles on another side (at least one)

D = A * one side of the post with the least # of circles (at least one)

The Final Coordinates are: N39° 4 A.0 B A / W75° 4A. C D 0

Check sum: A + B + C + D = 20

Good Luck!

Please return the cache as it was found for the next finder to enjoy.

*** Update : As of 9/21/23 I checked on the cache container and trail post used in the field puzzle. A large tree fell near trail post but the post is still standing. The tree was cut up and removed. A few circles on the post peeled off or were torn off so I reworked the simple field puzzle. ***

The cache container is not hanging any more. Wiped up slight moisture from inside. Put in a new replacement log sheet, in a plastic bag, in a pill bottle, in a clear green plastic bottle.
