Need to get away? How about some peace and quiet! This cache is near Meekins Landing. Its a great place for launching your boat if you like to fish, and if not its still a great way to get to know this part of Kerr Lake as well.
Meekins was once set to be a marina and camp ground, but since it has just become a wildlife recreation area for launching fishing boats.
There doesn't seem to be many of these type cache's around these parts, but for the location I think its appropriate. Might want to bring some kind of container that holds a good bit of water....without it you won't have much luck.
