Welcome to Sylvester! ... or what's left of it. Sylvester, at one time, had several stores, hotels, a bank, a gas station, a railroad station, a good number of churches, and a school. The school was closed in 1956 and all the students were transferred up the road to McCaulley (which remained open until 1986). Aside from the residents of Sylvester, the only other buildings that remain active are the Post Office (part-time), the Community Center, and the Baptist Church (which is very well attended, and continues to have 3 services a week).
The coordinates will take you to all that is left of the old school. These ruins are what used to be the auditorium (on the upper level) and home making classrooms (on the lower level). The main school building was across the street, where a barn is now located.
Despite appearances, people do still live here and watch out for each other, so be aware of Muggles, especially on Sundays and Wednesdays during church hours (the Baptist Church is only a block away). The cache should be fairly easy to find, but do watch out for cactus, mesquite trees, rattle snakes, scorpions, wasps nests, and any other hostile plants & animals. This is the Big Country, not the Big City or the beach, so just have a care and wear appropriate clothing (NOT RECOMMENDED: tank tops, shorts, flip-flops).
