First introduced as part of the secret service team and recruited by Gibbs as part of his team. Was a dedicated profiler and created psychological profiles of suspects.
In season 2 episode "Witness" was revealed she had a phobia of Dentists. She over came this by Tony giving her the number of a hypnotist.
Kate wrote right handed, used computer mouse with left, played golf with left, and swung a bat and threw a baseball with her right.
Kate had an opportunity to kill Ariin episode "Bete Noire", but didn't, later revealing to Ducky that Ari had a look of kindness in his eyes.
Season 2, episode "Twilight" she was shot in forehead and killed by Ari. Ari was half brother to Ziva, who would later be her replacement on the team.
