Pour accéder à cette cache il vous faudra aller au Nord Caraïbes dans la commune du Morne Rouge. La cache a été placée à l'extérieur du Musée. Soit vous faites seulement la cache ou visitez aussi car la visite est payante.
LE SITE :
Si vous souhaitez découvrir l'histoire de la Montagne Pelée ou tout simplement la voir sans avoir à escalader, rendez vous à la maison des Volcans au bourg du Morne-Rouge. Ce musée dédié au volcan de la Pelée a été inauguré en 1991 par les vulcanologues Maurice et Katia Krafft quelques semaines avant leur disparition sur les pentes d'un volcan japonais.
La Maison du volcan, étape culte en haut du bourg, héritière de la vie des volcans, présente en particulier l’ascension de la montagne Pelée par projection-vidéo, beaucoup moins fatigante que dans la réalité, et offrant des points de vue parfois ignorés des grimpeurs. Des documents et des fragments sont présentés dans un cadre simple. Des panneaux abordent la surveillance des volcans aux mécanismes éruptifs en passant par les applications de la volcanologie. Enfin une vidéo retrace l'éruption de 1902.

Des expositions thématiques ponctuelles sont proposées aux visiteurs.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture sur le parking prévu, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache Micro Magnetique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.
