We have spent a lot of time out at this beautiful park and have enjoyed many miles on the trails out here completing all of the caches in this park. A huge thank you to the cache owners, especially Spike007 for placing the majority of them and allowing us to enjoy the many beautiful views that it has to offer.
Now that we have completed this park and have smiley's on all of the caches we have decided to put out this challenge cache. A big thank you to eddiethesecond for this great idea.
There are two parts to this challenge and the first one is to either post a bookmark list of your finds or a screenshot of your smiley's or stars. All caches on or inside the green boundaries are required (any temporarily disabled caches are not required to complete this challenge) and the second is to sign the log. Please replace the cache as found. You may sign the log at any time and write a note that you did but you won't get credit until you post the proof of your accomplishment. An example of a screenshot has been added to the Gallery.
This beautiful park has many recreational activities to offer such as Hiking, Swimming, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Fishing, Sledding Hill and Plenty of Picnic Areas and Wildlife and last but not least is what we all enjoy is Geocaching. At this time there are nearly 70 cache placements in this park.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Aaron Mason, manager of Kinnickinnic State Park. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at the Wisconsin DNR website.
