A late afternoon gathering to swap stories and enjoy a (hopefully) nice time by the LaHave River.
In early May I had planned to host a May the Fourth event as I was taking part in the multi-event geocoin project for the date. However, the geocoins were delayed, another event was planned for that evening down the coast, and I was also hosting a 15 Years of Geocaching event on the weekend. Rather than squeeze in an early morning event on the actual day I decided to postpone until after the coins arrived. And so, as May winds down, the time is here!
Since spring has finally come I decided to hope for nice weather and have the event outside. We will be meeting at Shipyards Landing park beside the LaHave River. There is some shelter, but if it is forecasting rain I may move the location to a drier spot in town. Keep an eye on the event page for any announcements to that effect.
The event will start at 4:45pm and run till 5:30pm, concluding with a prize draw and group photo. Hope to see you there!
