We usually park in Freckleton and walk along the public footpath along the creek to Naze Point. The path goes through some wooded tunnels and past boatyards - theres lots to see but it can get quite muddy underfoot. The cache is hidden near where we usually finish the walk at the trig point. Here the river Ribble and the river Douglas meet and the water's very restless. Sunsets can be spectacular and there's always a lot of birdlife around the water. It's a lovely spot for contemplation, really peaceful and I hope other people find it so as well and enjoy finding the cache.
The cache is hidden a short distance away from the bench, but no further down the slope towards the foreshore and river. It's a camo bag containing a round tub big enough for trackables and swaps.
